Before you can grow you most control bills

Paying off your bills, let alone organizing them, is no easy task. Simplify your bill-paying with the following suggestions:

As your bills arrive, place them in one central location.

Designate certain days each month to pay your bills and have supplies such as a pen, stamps, envelopes, and address labels on hand.

For fixed expenses such as rent or loan payments, prepare envelopes in advance.

Record each bill in your check register as you pay it.

Keep the bill stubs marked with the date paid, check number, and amount paid until the following month.

Place bank statements and any cancelled checks in a folder for safekeeping.

Purchase inexpensive money management software to improve efficiency and organization, especially at tax time.
