Tech Stuff - Downloading Files In Netscape

I was recently asked if it's possible to download a file directly to a floppy disk using Netscape. Yes, it is possible. However, you need to make sure that the file will fit on a single floppy disk. Any file smaller than about 1.3MB should fit provided you insert a completely blank formatted floppy disk.

With the disk in place, click the download URL as usual. When the Save As dialog box opens, select the floppy Drive A and click Save. Don't forget that you'll have to change back to your hard disk folder for your next download. Netscape always attempts to save to the last selected folder.

Want to CHAT, I use Yahoo's IM as the_web_ster. Under the live webcams look for & click on me "the_webster".
